John's Inspiration
"Is Anyone Out There" started with me thinking about patterns as frequency. From there, the idea shifted to human frequency and how our physical health, emotional state, and environment all influence how we feel and move through the world.
I added a small radio signal to the composition as a way of asking the viewer to tune into their own frequency because awareness matters.
This painting is about noticing where you’re operating from, whether your mental and emotional state feels heavy or light, scattered or clear. When you take a moment to tune in, it can shift how you feel, how you think, and how you show up in the world.
