John's Inspiration

"This is the One" was inspired by the scrub jays that visit our deck, always as a pair. One is always bolder than the other, but they both bring so much personality to their visits. It’s fun to watch them hop around, flitting from peanut to peanut, carefully inspecting each one as if they’re searching for the perfect prize. While scrub jays might not be everyone’s favorite with their noisy calls, spending time observing them has made me appreciate their intelligence and determination. We’ve grown quite fond of our resident visitors and their endearing, quirky behavior.
